Gru Meets Long-Lost Twin In New 'Despicable Me 3' Trailer

 

Illumination Entertainment has released the second trailer for ‘Despicable Me 3’, which reunites the former supervillain with his long-lost twin brother. The third film in the highly successful ‘Despicable Me’ franchise is set to hit theaters on June 30.

Backed by Dr. Dre, Eminem and X-Zibit’s “Whats the Difference,” the latest trailer shows Gru’s surprise at discovering his golden haired, super rick brother, and hesitancy as Dru attempts to lure him back into his villainous ways. 

The film marks the latest release from the ‘Despicable Me’ franchise which became a global hit with its previous two incarnations and the highly successful ‘Minions’ spinoff. Alongside returning cast members Steve Carell and Kristen Wigg will be South Park legend Trey Parker as the the twins supervillain adversary Balthazar Bratt. 

Directed by Pierre Coffin, Eric Guillon and Kyle Balda, “Despicable Me 3” arrives in theaters on June 30, 2017.
